1. Acceptance and Scope

These terms form an agreement between you and Happy advert Limited, a company incorporated in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China (“we,” “us,” or “our”), regarding your use of the Naqsh Widgets iOS app, Widget Extension, and related features. By downloading, installing, opening, or using the service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using and uninstall the app.

If you are not legally capable of entering this agreement independently, use the service only after a guardian has reviewed and accepted these terms.

2. Service

Naqsh Widgets lets you create, customize, and display iOS Home Screen widgets. Templates currently include clocks and dates, countdowns, weather and My Car, prayer times, Hijri calendars, Ramadan and Saudi events, Qibla assistance, device status, steps and walking/running distance, photo walls, dynamic panels, CCD camera, savings goals, and date progress. You can edit colors, fonts, text, dates, amounts, cities, photos, and layout, then add saved widgets to the Home Screen.

The main app and Widget Extension share some data through Apple’s App Group container so widgets can show saved settings and the most recent trusted data. The main app also uses Umeng analytics and Apple Search Ads/internal attribution to measure app usage and marketing, as described in the Privacy Policy.

The current version has no app accounts, cloud sync, social publishing, or third-party ad displays. Some features require VIP membership purchased through Apple in-app purchases. Templates also include dual-city clocks, weekly step trends, Quran verses, recitation counters, and morning/evening completion markers, for everyday reference.

2.1 VIP Membership and Purchases

VIP unlocks the member templates and editing benefits listed on the purchase screen. Weekly and yearly subscriptions are currently offered. Available products, billing periods, prices, currency, trial eligibility, and offers are determined by the App Store purchase confirmation. Previously purchased lifetime membership can be restored; it is not automatically converted to a subscription and does not renew.

Apple charges your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the current period ends. An eligible free or discounted trial renews at the price shown in the purchase confirmation. To avoid renewal after a trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, or through the app’s subscription management entry. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription. Apple displays when benefits end after cancellation.

Use the same Apple Account to restore eligible purchases after reinstalling or changing devices. Restoration retrieves valid subscriptions or purchased lifetime access without creating a new purchase. Request refunds through Apple; Apple handles eligibility under its rules, without limiting mandatory consumer rights. Refunds, revocations, or expiry may end the corresponding paid access. See Apple’s cancellation instructions.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must have the legal capacity appropriate for your use and comply with applicable law. The current version does not provide registration, sign-in, or account deletion and does not require a Naqsh Widgets account. Downloads, updates, and system widget features depend on your device, iOS, Apple ID, and App Store environment and are provided by Apple under its terms.

4. System Permissions and Feature Limits

You decide whether to grant permissions. Refusing or revoking one affects only features that depend on it.

  • Location: automatically matches local weather, calculates local prayer times, and assists Qibla direction. You can choose a city manually without location access. Apple Core Location, geocoding, and WeatherKit may process location and city data.
  • Health: reads daily step counts for the last 7 days (including today) and today’s walking/running distance for health widgets. The app does not write to Health.
  • Photos: Apple’s picker lets you select image or video assets. The app receives only items you explicitly choose and does not require full-library access.
  • Bluetooth: device panels read authorization and radio state only. The app does not scan for, connect to, or read nearby devices.

Manage permissions in iOS Settings and delete widgets or media you no longer need in the app.

5. Your Content and Local Data

You are responsible for widget titles, dates, amounts, goals, regions, photos, videos, and other content you provide. You must have the right to use that content and must not infringe copyright, publicity, privacy, or other rights.

Widget content is currently stored on your device and in shared on-device storage for use by the app and Home Screen widgets. Cropping and vehicle subject separation occur on device. We have not implemented uploading user widget content or media to the attribution server, Umeng, or other users. Uninstalling, clearing system data, or device failure may cause local content loss; keep original media you need.

Recitation counts, goals, reading settings, and morning/evening completion markers are stored in the device App Group for the app and widgets. They are not uploaded as recitation history or used to build a religious-belief profile. Weekly step charts use seven days of HealthKit daily totals; illustrative graphics or missing-data placeholders are not measurements. Membership state and pending logs are also stored locally.

6. Acceptable Use

Do not use the service for unlawful activity or content that violates another person’s rights. Do not attack or disrupt the app, bypass security controls, or reverse engineer, crack, or distribute it where prohibited by law. You are responsible for the content shown in your widgets and actions you take based on it.

7. Intellectual Property

Except for content you own or lawfully license, the app’s software, interface, branding, built-in graphics, template arrangements, and copy belong to us or their respective owners. Open-source software and third-party assets are used under their own licenses. Without permission, you may not copy, sell, or use our proprietary content to build a competing product.

8. Third-Party Services

Weather, location, Health, photo selection, widgets, Apple Search Ads attribution, and App Store features rely on Apple frameworks or services and may vary with device, iOS version, network, region, permissions, and service availability. The main app also uses Umeng analytics and sends limited device and installation data required for ASA attribution to the configured operator server. These services are not used to display third-party ads in the app. Their own terms and privacy policies apply; see the Privacy Policy for details.

Choosing rate, share, email, or policy actions may open the App Store, mail app, or browser.

Apple StoreKit / App Store processes purchases and restoration; Alibaba Cloud SLS processes interaction and purchase records described in the Privacy Policy. SLS uses Singapore.

9. Changes, Interruptions, and Termination

We may add, modify, suspend, or stop features because of product, security, compliance, or third-party service changes. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. You may stop using and uninstall the app at any time; there is currently no separate service account to close. If you materially violate these terms, we may restrict the service where permitted by law.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Weather, prayer times, calendars, Qibla direction, device metrics, health statistics, and countdowns may be delayed or differ because of data sources, system limits, location accuracy, permissions, time zones, or calculation methods. They are for everyday reference only and are not medical, safety, religious, navigation, financial, or other professional advice. Savings widgets only track values you enter and do not provide account management, payment, investment, or financial advice. Consult authoritative sources and actual conditions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental loss caused by force majeure, system or network failure, interruption of Apple or other third-party services, your mistakes, lack of backup, or use beyond the service’s intended purpose. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. App License and Relationship with Apple

Unless App Store metadata provides a custom end-user license agreement, the software license for the app is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement; these terms supplement it for the features, content, membership, and services we provide. The license we grant is non-transferable and limited to use on Apple-branded products you own or control as permitted by the Apple Media Services Usage Rules, except as those rules permit Family Sharing or volume purchasing.

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app, its content and support, and claims relating to the app or its use, including product-liability, consumer-protection, privacy, HealthKit, and intellectual-property claims. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty that has not been effectively disclaimed, you may notify Apple; Apple may refund the applicable app purchase price under its rules, and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.

You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app and represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and are not on a U.S. Government prohibited or restricted-party list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the provisions concerning them and may enforce those provisions where applicable. Nothing limits non-waivable consumer rights.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms and related disputes are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China, excluding conflict-of-law rules. The parties should first try to resolve disputes through the contact in Section 14. If unresolved, either party may submit the dispute to a court of competent jurisdiction in Hong Kong, and the parties accept its non-exclusive jurisdiction.

If mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim locally, apply local consumer protections, or exercise another non-waivable right, this section does not limit that right.

13. General

Headings are for convenience only. If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a right immediately is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our written consent. If we transfer these terms through a merger, reorganization, or business transfer, we will protect your rights as required by law.
